Poptori Oy was founded in 1995 and was originally a distribution company specialised in handling the distribution of home entertainment products in Finland. Our company is nowadays the strongest distributor by volumes in Finland, but also a top modern studio, manufacturing and product development unit. We have a record and publishing company with our own back catalogue and wide experience in running our production and promotion system.

Poptori is a company for communication and home entertainment businesses. We are also a content producing and administrating unit, creating synergy among all the departments. Different business areas support each other.

Movies and other DVD content products are the business areas to be boosted. Poptori shall concentrate to administrate the content of those specific areas. Our business idea is to consolidate business information to other content. This model offers a totally new advertising media and information channel for homes, businesses and other target groups.

Poptori’s back catalogue consists of app. 3,000 works and 200 evergreen masters; “Poptorin parhaat” (The Best of Poptori) albums, the content of which varies from children’s music to classical and top Finnish performers. We plan to expand our back catalogue not only by recording new music but also by acquisitions of other back catalogues.
